More glazes than ever!
Omega Cabinetry offers many types of glazes to suit your budget and your personal style. Whether a crevice-only or an all-over glaze, each is hand-applied artistically for a one of a kind look. Click on the pictures below for more details on each type of glaze.
Glaze appearance varies significantly depending on door and drawer details. The detailing must be deep to allow the glaze “hang up” to be distinct and visible. Gradual details may not show any or little “hang up”. Click here for further explanation.

Dry Glazes: Caramel, Coffee and Pewter

Wet Glazes: Bronze, Onyx and Porcelain

Highlight Glazes: Champagne and Pistachio

These dry glazes highlight the deep crevices of doors, drawers, moldings and select cabinet parts. Arctic, Coffee and Pewter are available on a variety of stains and opaque (painted) colors, while Caramel is offered exclusively on opaques. The amount and visibility of glaze hang-up depends on the door style selected. Ask your designer to see a door sample in your specific door style, finish and glaze combination.

Brushed Glazes: Amaretto and Cognac

Two of our newest glazes, Amaretto and Cognac, are brushed glazes similar in appearance to Omega Custom’s Cappuccino and Hazelnut glazes. Amaretto and Cognac are hand-applied to all visible cabinet parts including doors, drawers, cabinet sides, frames and moldings. Application of these glazes will change the base finish color significantly and varied brush strokes should be expected. Select door styles and opaque colors are available with Amaretto and Cognac. Due to the artistic characteristics of these glazes you must see a door sample in your specific door style, color and glaze combination before placing an order.

OMEGA CUSTOM ONLY: Cappuccino
|

Cappuccino is available on maple opaque finishes and features a brown toned glaze that will slightly tint the base color, making the finish appear slightly darker. Like Hazelnut, Cappuccino is an artistic quality finish, making each door its own work of art. The unique profiling of each door style allows for a different degree of glaze hang-up.

Hazelnut is a dynamic dark brown brushed glaze, which is perfect for an entire project, spectacular island, or a stand-alone furniture piece. Its artistic quality and unique profiling of each door style allows for a different degree of glaze hang-up, making each door its own work of art.
